Only at six...

Only at six could you kiss a boy you like, have him say "gross," and then hang out with him all day, every day, three days in a row without worrying about where the relationship is going, the other girls he might be interested in, and whether or not he likes you the same way you like him. Meet Kelly Ann*, the first girl to have a crush on Kaleb.

*Names have been changed to protect the innocent. But you can tell she’s adorable, right? *sigh*

Cute, I love it. My son has a friend whom he just loves. She moved away a couple of months ago(years for a 4 year old) and he still holds true to the fact that he is going to marry this girl. Kids are so dang cute!

Shauna-you are so funny! We women know what we want at an early age I guess. We are so excited for the kids to come--camping, smores, picnic--even if it is all happening in the backyard :)

awww... now if she can just somehow hang onto her self-esteem, she'll be SET!

In all fairness, Kaleb asks to play with her as much as she asks to play with him. Their friendship is mutual, although I catch her trying to hold his hand quite a bit. It's fun to watch because they really seem to enjoy each others' company. When does that change?

I love that his response was "gross." I wonder if that was put on or real... what do you think??

Likeastar, It's funny you ask, because I told the girl's mom and she denied it, so my husband and I are wondering if Kaleb made it all up. But I really don't think he has any interest in her as a "girl." He sure does seem to like her as a friend though.
