A Pumpkin's Slow, Cold Death

I may not have hung Christmas lights this year, but I left some of our Halloween decorations out to compensate. Here's Kaleb's poor Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pumpkin. We will miss you Leonardo.

Eh. Just say you were going for a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme....
You know, the whole mixing of Halloween and Christmas! :)

Poor pumpkin. He has frostbite! Lights are overrated anyways.

Thanks for reminding me--I chucked all my pumpkins in the flowerbed the last time I raked the leaves. I should probably go get them.

Terrific likeness of Leonardo. I think your mom let Eli watch one of the turtle movies because all of a sudden, Eli (and Rory) knows all the names of the turtles.

That's the thing about living in a place where it snow so close to Hallowe'en... If you don't chuck those pumpkins out right away, they freeze to your doorstep in some pathetic state of permanance until Spring... Ugh!

Leonardo looks pretty darned cute, though... Your son did a great job.

It's green, it's creative, it's covered with snow, and I think it fits the Christmas criteria just fine. I like it. Two for one, your amazing!
